My darling husband, can you believe a year ago today you managed to convince the A&E doctors to let you out of hospital as you had planned a celebratory birthday lunch for the following day. Despite being admitted with Jaundice and looking very yellow they were not going to be able to operate for a couple of days. Great you said, well let me out for 24 hours and I promise to come back!! Typical you, why would you let something "minor" like that get in the way of a good boozy lunch!! It was your 61st birthday and you were determined not to spend it in hospital. I thought you were crazy but you talked me around too so I promised the doctors I would take care of you. Turns out it was the right decision, for it was to be your last birthday and like everything, you did it in style, even if you were all yellow... x x x
